Harold and Sandra Are Retiring

Phillip Boykin

June 29, 2021

After 50 years of faithful service to OFWB and OFWB International, the Board of OFWBI announces the retirement of Harold and Sandra Jones. Their love and commitment to the OFWB Churches worldwide will leave an incredible legacy and a considerable void in many lives.

Space does not permit an exhaustive and appropriate medium to express our gratitude. Therefore a formal retirement celebration is being planned for a future date so we all can honor them appropriately for how much they mean to us. A formal announcement of the date, time, and location will be made public when details are finalized.

Harold and Sandra will be the keynote speaker for the worship service at this year’s Annual Convention, Thursday, September 30, at the Maxwell Center in Goldsboro. Please make plans to join us for worship and celebration.

Therefore, due to their forthcoming retirement, the Board has initiated a search for a new Director.

Candidates who wish to be considered should (1) be a committed Christian, (2) have a knowledge of the OFWB denomination, doctrines, programs, and relationships, (3) be one whose education is adequate to function at a high level of efficiency and dealing with mission work. The candidate should also have strong communication skills in both oral and written formats. A full job description is available from any member of the Board, the OFWB headquarters, or the chairman of the Board.

Send resumes to the Rev Phil Boykin, chairman, 1312 Whitten Court, Greenville, 27858 or phillipboykin@aol.com.
