Dear Friends of Cragmont,
Exciting news from the mountain! After much prayer and careful study, Cragmont is stepping forward in faith with the Legacy of Worship Capital Campaign.
Earlier this year, 162 members of our community participated in a planning study to help guide our next steps. Again and again, participants described Cragmont as “serenity,” “home away from home,” and “family.” Many affirmed that a dedicated worship space is essential for the generations to come, and they expressed deep trust in Cragmont’s leadership and vision.

Here are a few highlights from the study results:
Strong Support for Projects: Renovating the historic Tabernacle/Gym and building a new multipurpose support building received some of the highest ratings.
Deep Love for Cragmont: Participants repeatedly noted how Cragmont provides a peaceful environment where youth and adults alike feel closer to God.
Confidence in Leadership: Matthew, our staff, and our Board of Directors were consistently affirmed for their faithful leadership.
Fundraising Potential: Fellowship Development projects that Cragmont can raise $2 million to $2.6 million toward our $3 million goal over a three-year campaign.

Because of these results, our Board has voted to move forward with the campaign—praise the Lord!
But right now, we are not asking for gifts. Instead, we are asking for something even more important: your prayers.
Please take time to reflect on what Cragmont means to you and your family. Pray about how you can be part of this legacy—prayerfully and sacrificially—when the time comes. We believe that with the Lord guiding us, and with the faithful support of this community, our efforts will be successful.
Thank you to everyone who participated in the study. Your voice has shaped the vision, and your prayers will help bring it to life. We will be sending periodic updates as the campaign unfolds.
With gratitude and hope,
Matthew Daughtry-Grubbs Executive Director Cragmont Camp & Retreat Center
