Recently, we had the privilege of visiting and spending time with our beloved pastors, who continue to serve faithfully in some of the most remote and challenging areas. These men and women of God labor quietly, often with very limited resources, yet their hearts burn with the fire of the Gospel and a deep love for their people and communities.

During our time together, we listened to their stories—stories marked by struggle, sacrifice, and resilience, but also filled with joy, answered prayers, and growing faith. Some shared how they walk long distances to minister in different villages, often facing opposition that seems to grow harder each day. In the group photo, the shortest among them is Pastor Parsu R. Bariya. The building behind us is on his own land, where he built a church despite resistance from his village. He was forbidden to place a cross on top, yet he pressed on, building anyway. Their lives are powerful testimonies of what it means to follow Jesus wholeheartedly.

What always moves us is their simplicity and hospitality. We try to meet every few months—not only to encourage them, but also to be encouraged ourselves. Many travel great distances, often pooling resources by sharing a single motorbike and splitting the cost of fuel. Though some were unable to join us this time, our gathering reminded us of Acts 2:46, where the early Church met “with glad and sincere hearts,” finding strength in unity.
We left humbled, inspired, and deeply encouraged. Our tribal pastors remind us that true ministry is not about comfort or recognition, but about obedience, faithfulness, and love. Please continue to uphold them in your prayers, that they may press on in the mission God has placed before them.
Thank you so much for making this possible.
