OFWBI: Fellowship Camp 2026 at Doris E. Martinez National High School

Despite the challenges caused by rising oil prices and other financial burdens, we are reminded that when we serve for God’s glory, true joy and fulfillment are found in Him alone.

By God’s grace, a victorious Fellowship Camp was held on May 21–23, 2026, at Doris E. Martinez National High School. The purpose of the camp was to encourage the youth, especially as they prepare for the incoming school year, to keep Jesus at the center of their lives. They were challenged to become vessels of hope to their fellow students and to respond to God’s call through Isaiah 6:8: “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.”

Through prayer and the cheerful support of church members and givers, the event became possible. Around 50 campers, facilitators, church workers, school staff, Bro. Punla, and pastors attended, including Rev. Freedom G. Amenin and Rev. Anacito L. Linga III.

The camp opened with prayer, followed by orientation and dinner. The first evening ended with the preaching of God’s Word by Rev. Freedom G. Amenin.

The second day began with praise and worship, devotion led by Sis. Annabelle M. Punla, and breakfast fellowship. The campers then attended spiritual lectures designed to strengthen their faith. Rev. Freedom G. Amenin led the session for first-time campers. Sis. Ruth Shaina M. Malaque taught “Standing Firm in a Compromising World.” Sis. Kristine Mae D. Ustares shared “Faith Over Fear.” Sis. Jane Margaret D. Sano discussed “Guard Your Heart.” Bro. Herminio N. Bustamante taught “Revive Us Again,” and Sis. Maureen C. Gumbisan encouraged everyone with “Living as Christ’s Ambassador.”

In the afternoon, the campers enjoyed Bible-centered activities such as Chronicles of Events in the Bible, Quote or Scripture, and Who Said It? They also participated in sports, with the boys playing basketball and the girls playing volleyball.

That evening, Rev. Anacito L. Linga III shared a powerful message about the hindrances that keep people from answering God’s call. He encouraged the youth to overcome distractions, identity struggles, temptations, and sin through God’s power. The campers also presented the “Reenactment of the Prophets,” based on their teams: Yellow Titus, Green Apollos, and Blue Barnabas.

On the final day, Sis. Anna Reze S. Castillo led the devotion and reminded everyone that following Christ must be seen in both words and actions. After breakfast, the campers joined the “Amazing Mission Race,” one of the most joyful and memorable parts of the camp.

Above all, this Fellowship Camp was a true “God Did It” moment. Every victory, provision, lesson, and changed life happened by God’s grace. Truly, this generation is ready to represent Jesus Christ in their schools, communities, and wherever God sends them.
