The Bible speaks to us, but the Psalms speak for us. Have you ever gone through a time of discouragement? I have, and it is something that should never be ignored. It can cause you to look for someone to blame, which can lead to anger and bitterness. It can cause us to withdraw from our family and friends. There is a way out. We can cry out to God and ask for help. He is always with us. He is in control, and He will take care of us. Allow God to lift you out and set your feet on the Rock as Psalm 40:2 says, Surrender your life and will to Him and let God do the rest. Do not let the stresses of the day steal your Psalm.
