The Bible speaks to us, but the Psalms speak for us. When God looked at the world He made, He declared it good. In Genesis 1:27 God summarizes the crowning achievement of His creative work. God created man in His own image. What a thought! Psalm 139 reminds us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. The way our bodies and minds work is a miracle. God has given each of us special gifts, and our potential for service in his kingdom is great. We all fall short and make mistakes, but God will forgive us and give us another chance. God looks beyond our human frailties to the potential we have in Christ. Seek to become the person God has equipped us to be. Do not let the stresses of the day steal your Psalm.
