The Bible speaks to us, but the Psalms speak for us. Psalm 133:1 says, “God honors the prayers of those who pay the price to live together in Harmony. In scripture, there are many different kinds of prayer. Let’s look at some of them: (1) The prayer of surrender. (2) The prayer of commitment. (3) The prayer of intercession. (4) The prayer of petition. (5) The prayer of agreement. (6) The prayer of Thanksgiving. When our prayers outnumber our praises, it says something about your character. Self-centered people ask, but rarely appreciate. God won’t release us into fullness of all He had planned for us until we become thankful for what we have already received. Praise God for His favor, mercy, loving kindness, grace, long suffering, and goodness. Do not let the stresses of the day steal your Psalm.
