The First Free Will Baptist Church (FFWBC) in Manila recently hosted a transformative youth team-building event on August 3, 2024, at La Mesa Ecopark in Fairview, Quezon City. The purpose of this event was to promote spiritual growth, foster camaraderie, and strengthen the bonds among the youth members. A total of 41 young people and 9 volunteer facilitators participated in the activities.

The event featured a variety of outdoor challenges, fellowship, and faith-based games designed to create a fun and engaging environment. These activities aimed to help the youth develop valuable life skills, build stronger relationships, and deepen their faith.

Some key highlights of the team-building activity included:

1. Teamwork and Collaboration: Participants worked together to overcome challenges and achieve common goals. The event provided opportunities for the youth to connect on a deeper level, resulting in the formation of lasting friendships.

2. Spiritual Growth: The event included sessions of sharing the Word of God, led by the church pastor, Pastor Arnel Cuba. These sessions encouraged spiritual reflection and growth, and many participants experienced a renewed sense of faith and purpose.

3. Leadership Development: The youth had the chance to demonstrate leadership qualities and take on responsibilities. The activities challenged them to step up as leaders, showcasing their skills and abilities.

The team-building activity had a profound impact on the youth, fostering a sense of unity, belonging, and purpose. The participants learned valuable life skills such as teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership. Additionally, they deepened their understanding of faith and strengthened their connection to the church community. One significant breakthrough during the event was that many youths accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.

The FFWBC youth team-building activity was a resounding success, providing a memorable and enriching experience for all who participated. The event not only strengthened bonds and encouraged spiritual growth but also equipped the youth with essential life skills. As we look forward to future events, we are inspired by the enthusiasm, dedication, and positive spirit of our young people.
