Ministers and laity from multiple churches gathered together in unity for a time of worship, fellowship, and powerful preaching from September 16–18, 2024, at Cragmont Assembly. Despite the constant rain outside, the atmosphere inside was filled with warmth, joy, and the unmistakable presence of the Holy Spirit.
This gathering marked the fifth annual Camp Meeting, and by all accounts, it was the best one yet. Attendees were blessed by the powerful preaching of Reverends Bruce Jones, James Rogerson, Kevin Woolard, and Dann Patrick, each delivering a message rooted deeply in Scripture and filled with the Spirit's conviction. The preaching sessions were marked by clarity, passion, and an unwavering commitment to sharing God's truth.
Adding to the worshipful atmosphere was the music ministry, provided by the trio from Grifton known as Dawson Road. Their soulful melodies and heartfelt worship complemented each service beautifully, inviting the congregation into deeper moments of prayer and praise. Every service throughout the retreat was filled with fervent worship, sincere prayer, and biblical preaching that left participants inspired and spiritually rejuvenated.
The Cragmont Assembly staff went above and beyond in their hospitality, ensuring that everyone felt comfortable and well cared for. They provided delicious meals, along with a generous selection of snacks and drinks, creating a welcoming environment for rest and reflection between services. The shared meals also gave participants a chance to fellowship and connect, further strengthening the bonds between church leaders and members.
Though the weather outside was dreary, the spirit of the retreat was anything but. The unity, worship, and spiritual depth experienced at this year’s Camp Meeting left a lasting impact on all who attended, and many are already looking forward to next year’s gathering.
