We want to give God the glory for his blessings upon us all. We also want to thank you for your continuous prayers and support for the mission in Africa. We are able to do more because of you.

Annual Manifest Conference of the Original Free Will Baptist Church of Liberia

The Original Free Will Baptist Church of Liberia successfully concluded its Annual Minister's and Church Workers Manifest Conference, held this year exclusively among the Monrovia churches. Due to unforeseen reasons, congregations from other counties were regrettably advised to postpone their attendance until the next annual gathering. Despite this limited scope, the conference was widely deemed a success, offering a time of deep spiritual growth, fellowship, and focused instruction.

Key Focus: Stewardship

The central theme of this year's conference was Stewardship. Sessions were dedicated to exploring the multifaceted meaning of stewardship from a biblical perspective, emphasizing that it encompasses far more than just financial giving.

 * Time and Talents: Discussions highlighted the importance of wisely managing the time and talents God has entrusted to each believer, especially those serving in church leadership roles.

 * Resources and Finances: Practical and spiritual insights were shared on managing church finances and personal resources with integrity, accountability, and a view toward advancing the Kingdom of God.

 * Spiritual Gifts: Ministers and workers were encouraged to identify and diligently use their spiritual gifts to effectively serve their congregations and communities.

The teachings underscored that faithful stewardship is a prerequisite for effective ministry and a core expression of a disciple's commitment to Christ.

Positive Outcomes of the Monrovia Gathering

While the absence of delegates from other counties was noted, the consolidated gathering of Monrovia churches fostered an environment for more intensive and focused discussion and strategic planning among the city's leadership.

 * Fellowship and Networking: The conference provided a vital opportunity for ministers and church workers within the capital to strengthen their bonds of fellowship and network for greater co-ordination in their local mission efforts.

 * Renewed Vision: The specialized focus on stewardship helped to re-calibrate the vision for ministry in the Monrovia area, setting clear objectives for growth, discipleship, and community outreach in the coming year.

The energy and commitment displayed by all attendees reaffirmed the strength and dedication within the Monrovia arm of the Original Free Will Baptist Church of Liberia. The leadership looks forward to a fully inclusive national Convention next year.
