The OFWBI South District 3rd Youth Conference 2026, themed “MOVE!”, was held on September 19, 2026, at FFWBC Aboabo in Sofronio Española, Palawan. The event brought together 86 young people from 11 churches for a day of worship, fellowship, learning, and spiritual growth. The conference was hosted by Abo-Abo FFWBC in partnership with the FFWB South District Youth Organization.

Centered on the challenge, “Take the Next Step of Faith. Live God’s Word,” the conference encouraged young people to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ and become more intentional about living out their faith.

The day began with registration and fellowship, giving participants from different churches an opportunity to meet and connect. Rev. Anacito III L. Linga led the opening prayer, followed by praise and worship from FFWBC Aboabo and a church presentation. Rev. Freedom G. Amenin welcomed the participants, and Bro. Hener John N. Bustamante led an icebreaker that helped create a joyful and engaging atmosphere.

The morning sessions included messages from Rev. Roderick B. Nilasa, South District Youth Organization Adviser, and Rev. June P. Buscano.

After lunch, the conference continued with praise and worship led by FFWBC Maasin and another icebreaker facilitated by Bro. Bel Jay A. Madduma. Rev. Anacito III L. Linga and Rev. Reymon A. Mate shared messages with the youth, while Sis. Melfe Galzote led the MOVE Quests.

Throughout the conference, the word MOVE provided a framework for responding to God’s call:

Mobilize — Rise and actively serve Christ.

Overcome — Face challenges through faith and dependence on God.

Visionize — Recognize God’s purpose and direction for your life.

Engage — Take an active part in God’s work and live out His Word.

The conference concluded with a special Prayer for the Youth led by Rev. June P. Buscano and the FFWBC pastors, followed by a closing song from FFWBC Maasin and the closing prayer.

More than simply a gathering, the conference reminded participants that Christian faith requires a response. The messages, worship, fellowship, and MOVE Quests all pointed to one central truth: the Christian journey is ultimately about following Jesus Christ.

As the young people returned to their churches and communities, the challenge of MOVE! remained: take the next step of faith, live according to God’s Word, and remain faithful to His calling.

May the lessons learned, friendships formed, prayers offered, and commitments made continue to bear fruit long after the conference. May each young person continue to move closer to Christ, deeper into His Word, and forward in His purpose.

Above all, may Jesus Christ remain at the center of every step, every decision, and every calling.
